Mad Men

Last night, I began watching Mad Men again. Maybe a few months ago (I can't remember how long) ago I started watching and then I got caught up with school and stuff and I couldn't  watch anymore. But now that it's summer, what better time to watch? Anyways, I was watching it and watching and watching. Pretty soon, my mind was warped back into the 1960's and I just had to go out and get some lipstick. Even though I didn't get any red lipstick (smart huh?), I did get two that I'm quite pleased with.
The first is "Gentleman Prefer Pink":
 and "Sassy Mauve"
I'm very happy with both, but especially Sassy Mauve. It just goes really well with my skin tone.
Plus, these lipsticks are AMAZING quality. They're both Revlon Super Lustrious Lipstick. I have another one in "Pink in the Afternoon" that's beyond exceptional. It's not too pink, but it still has that nice pink undertone to it that I just love.

Maybe later I'll go out and get another one (this time red) in honor of Mad Men :)

Marc Davis

So the other night, I just couldn't sleep if I had been paid to do it. So, me being me, I grabbed my iPhone and signed into YouTube. Now, maybe I'm just not as into YouTube as I thought, but apparently, you can watch full length movies on there! I had no idea! So there I was, in a magical world where you can watch movies on YouTube, and I stumbled upon 101 Dalmatians. Now mind you, I haven't seen this movie in well over five years, so watching the beginning scene where Pongo ties his leash around Anita's legs brought a smile to my face. After I got bored, I then found Sleeping Beauty which I watch up until the song Aurora sings in the forest with Prince Philip.
So today, after my workout and shower, I saw something my mom must have found in my very dirty closet (something I'm in the process of cleaning). It was a folder I remember getting at Target with the lady walking her dogs along a city street. This got my thinking about if there were any portraits of 101 Dalmatians, although I couldn't find any, I did find this man Marc Davis who is famous for his Disney drawings. Here's a little of what he's done...

Kind of fun to go back to your childhood huh? I have to say, I was quite happy when I found he is the one to have created Maleficent, being as she's my all time favorite Disney villain, next to Curella of course. By the way, did any of you know that Maleficent and the evil stepmother in Cinderella are the same voice? I know I didn't!
